4 years ago I was just another 9 to 5 office worker in Japan.
One day I woke up and thought…
“I don’t want my life to end like this.”
I needed a change but I was told so many times that I wasn’t gonna make it.
You’re gonna fail.
You are too young.
You are a woman.
You are Japanese.
The day I arrived in Vancouver I knew I wanted to live here.
“This is it”
It was like a beautiful dream where one minute I was walking through a modern city and moments later being completely surrounded by nature. The ocean, the mountains and the forests all together in one place.
I wanted to see things that I’ve never seen.
I wanted to create a business where people would have the freedom to be themselves and express their passions.
I wanted to meet people from diverse backgrounds with different points of view.
I wanted freedom.
The place I live today.
Where diversity rules.
Where you are allowed to be yourself.
Who is gonna change your life?
Who is responsible for your life?
“It’s never too early or too late to be whoever you want to be”
